Desexing Information

Our Desexing Policy

We use a company called SpaySecure to protect your puppy’s health and hormones and let them grow to a healthy age before desexing. We are charged a desexing management fee for this which is included within our sales price. SpaySecure uses binding contracts to ensure dog desexing at a healthy age. They’ll follow up with you to provide advice and reminders, ensuring your puppy gets desexed safely. Please visit their website for more information.

As a responsible breeder, I want to ensure that the puppies I provide you are healthy and protected. That is why I’ve partnered with SpaySecure, a program that ensures the proper desexing of my puppies to prevent unplanned litters and promote their well-being. The contract is simply a way to ensure that we are doing our part to protect our breed and prevent any potential issues down the road. SpaySecure is a company that many breeders use to ensure that their puppies are desexed on time. I want to make sure that every puppy is in a loving and safe environment, and the contract is one way we can achieve that.

The contract outlines the terms of the agreement, including the deadline for submitting proof and the consequences of not doing so. If you stay in touch with SpaySecure, you won’t have anything to worry about. It’s a good idea to talk to your vet during the first check-up or before getting your puppy and schedule the desexing procedure in advance, before your deadline, so you don’t have to worry about it later. Don’t wait until the last minute to book the appointment because vet slots can fill up quickly.
